Schools and groups
The House of sustainability, in collaboration with L'ideatorio, has several tools to promote interactive activities to reflect on sustainable development for schools and interested groups, such as:
- A planetarium
- Educational workshops, participatory projects and training days on site with meetings with the region (available no earlier than November 2024)
- Science camp
The calendar with the programme of activities will be available from spring 2024.

The activities are available in Italian and are adapted according to the age of the participants.
L’ideatorio USI
L’ideatorio is USI's service for the promotion of scientific culture and dialogue between science and society and is a regional antenna of the Science et Cité Foundation, a competence centre of the Swiss Academy of Sciences.
L’ideatorio aims to make science and its challenges in our society accessible and transparent to as many people as possible, by fostering a responsible and critical dialogue on scientific and technological progress.
In 18 years of activity, more than 5,000 classes (from kindergartens to secondary schools) have participated in the exhibitions, workshops and various activities of L'ideatorio, which have been organised in various locations in Ticino and from 2019 have found a permanent home in Cadro.
Inside the House of sustainability there will be an antenna of the service to focus on sustainable development issues.
